The benefits of music

Music helps to develop teamwork, focus, dedication and creativity. Recent scientific research has shown that it improves academic performance, develops language skills and most importantly, keeps our mind and body healthy.

Getting involved

After many years of visiting the beautiful island of Mallorca, Music4fun has now relocated to Portals Nous in Calvia and now is able to offer high quality, affordable tuition for all ages and abilities in a wide range of musical styles and instruments (piano, keyboard, drums, guitar, voice etc...). In addition, as music is such a valuable part of all our lives, we can also offer bespoke workshops for larger groups in the community to help with specific areas of need e.g. mental health, team building, equality etc...

I moved to Portals Nous in Mallorca in 2018 and have recently completed a long term teaching placement on the island, delivering music and drama to GCSE standard and English lessons to key stage 3 students. I am a fully qualified teacher educated to Master's level and also have extensive teaching experience of working with Special Needs and also have relevant teaching experience in most subject areas in schools.

As a creative practitioner, I have also undertaken creative music workshops covering many subject areas. I have a full driving licence and all the necessary documentation to work in Spain including a Spanish police check. As English is my native language, I really believe that in addition to learning musical skills in a fun environment, your child will greatly improve their English language skills.
