Emily, au pair - 28001 Madrid

Dear Host Family.
My name is Emily and I am 21 years old from Scotland. I am currently living in Madrid hoping to complete my B2 level of Spanish. I have been in Spain for a year and a half after deciding to take the big adventure and start learning new skills and embracing the Spanish Culture. I arrived with my bike and a few bags and have enjoyed every minute. I first started out as an Au Pair in Zaragoza and had the most amazing experience, then moving to the south to work in a hostel, then to Madrid where I had another Au Pair experience and later worked in a café. I have now decided to focus my time to really improve my Spanish but would also love to help you with your family and with your English as I know how much of a valuable skill and experience this can be rom the opportunities ive got and people ive met from learning Spanish. And of course more importantly just for everyone to have fun. I sometimes think us adults should play more as I always feel great playing with kids ;)

I am a super reliable and hardworking person, I will put in my all my efforts to help you with your family and try make the experience as enriching as possible. I like to think I am a creative person who enjoys many different art forms but also good at coming up with random ideas with the kids and helping their imagination grow. I also love music too, I can serenade you with my ukulele skills and if you happen to have a flute then that too :) I also love the outdoors and will be up for any adventure whether its cycling or hiking in the mountains or just exploring that secret world you have found in your back garden. and of course I am caring and will always have the best interests for your kids and hope that I can help them learn and be safe as much as I can.

I have already had two au pair experiences, one for a month in the summer holidays and one for around 9 months. If you are interested in seeing references I can ask the families to send them to me. I am currently in Madrid now and can start working now :)
