Hi! I’m Katrín and I love working with children. I have lots of experience caring for my 4 younger siblings (ages 5–11), from babysitting to cooking and baking with them. I’m responsible, patient, and enjoy keeping kids engaged with fun activities.
At 14, I babysat two boys (2 and 5), so I’ve cared for kids outside my family too. I’m confident with toddlers and older children and love crafts, baking, reading stories, and going for walks.
In 2022, I joined a school program at the fire station and learned how to help a choking baby and perform CPR.
I’m used to helping my siblings fall asleep, so bedtime is no problem. I’m available day or night and speak Icelandic (native), English well, and I’m learning Spanish.
I’m happy to help with light housework, meal prep, and I’m comfortable with pets. I’d love to support your family the way I do with mine!
My rate is usually between €8–10/hour depending on the number of children, schedule, and tasks. I have experience with toddlers and older kids, and I’m happy to help with light housework, bedtime, and meal prep. I speak English, Icelandic, and I’m learning Spanish. I’m also available during the day or night.
