I adore children and have always approached the learning and caring in a fun and safe and imaginative manner. I am qualified and experienced in working with early years education and also with children with specific aditional needs. My experience covers a wide range from childrens entertainment (3-14 years) early years learning (0-5 years) support work for children with autism on a 1 to 1 basis and providing respite for the famalies. I am english speaking with basic spanish and learning more each day, i am not shy to try and listen very well. Experienced in communicating with children with very little communication skills and additional needs using makaton. I am gentle, patient and understanding. I am also very observent of a childrens needs. As well as the initial care of the child i am very hard working and more than happy to help provide support to the family also, helping around the house, providing meals for the children, teaching with creative and theraputic play. I am a singer who understands the therapy of music and the joy and calming effect it can give. I like to introduce the individuals i care for to new experiences, trying new foods, learning new skills, exploring the outdoors. With all of this i can reasure you that your child will be cared for professionaly and safely.
