I am a professional qualified Music Teacher with a Master’s in Music Therapy at the University of Netherlands. I am an organised and efficient person as I work well in a team but also on my own as I like to set myself goals which I will achieve. I am passionate about my job as I use a lot of creative ways of teaching.Through these years, I've worked as a music teacher in a music institute for almost two years, I was teaching piano, theory and choir. I have also worked at a Greek school in Edinburgh, I was teaching piano to P3 – P6 and choir to P2 – P7 but also, I was assisting help to the Greek children with their own homework.
I have been in Edinburgh for 4 and a half years. My recent job was an assistant teacher in after school club with several duties and responsibilities. At the same time, I was working in nursery during the mornings as a nursery practitioner. One of my duties was to assist with the planning, day to day organisation and operation of the after-school club, providing high quality play opportunities and care for children in an inclusive environment. Effective communication with service users and using their ideas to influence the club’s activity programme.
