Ava, niñera a domicilio en Barcelona

Hello,

My name is Ava and I am from Ireland. I am 23 years old. English is my native language but I also have a basic level of Spanish.

I am moving to Barcelona in May and hope to stay for the foreseeable future. I studied Law with Social Justice in University College Dublin and graduated last October.

I love children and my part time job during university (2016-2020) was coaching hockey to primary school children. I coached children aged 5 to 14. Coaching children involved looking after and coaching hockey to groups of 12-20 children at a time. I also supervised them on the school bus to and from training and waited with them at the school until their parents arrived to collect them. Coaching was challenging because it was important to ensure that the children are safe at all times on and off the pitch, that they are always learning and improving their hockey skills, and most importantly, that they are having fun and enjoying themselves. While coaching a large number of children was challenging, I became close with the children and had a lot of fun with them.

I have also babysit for two families throughout the last few years.

I babysat for a family with three children, aged 5, 7 and 12 for 3 years. I primarily looked after them in the evenings, making them dinner and putting them to bed. I also did school pick ups and lunches from time to time.

I am currently working for a family with two lovely little girls. One is 15 months old and the other is 3 years old. My tasks include collecting the girls from creche, minding them throughout the afternoon which may include bringing them to the park, bringing them to activities or simply playing with them. I then make them dinner and put them to bed. I also carry out household tasks including cleaning, doing the laundry and making dinners to freeze for the following days.

I am a very outgoing, light-hearted and active person. I love minding children of all ages. I love sports and love playing sports with the children who I look after. I also play the piano which the children always enjoy.

I am available for full time or part time work.
