My name is Ingrid Catherine. I’m 31 years old and, I studied Early Childhood Teacher at University of Valencia in Spain. I decided to study it because my wish to become a children teacher come from different activities in which I have been working with, like face painting, balloon figures, entertainment for birthday, nanny care, and since I was 13 I’ve took care of children with ages between 8 months to 10 years. I planned activities with them for growing their imagination (crafts, trips), empowering their social communication and independence, creativity, helping with their homework, etc.
Since I was younger, I wanted to become a teacher because I love the children and because through the teaching not only transfer knowledge, but values like: love, affection, respect and it’s a way to help other people and besides you learn lots of things. I consider myself as a really empathetic person; I love help other people and listen them, I’m really patient and always try to see the positive things in all situations I have to face, because I always remember that there are lots of people who are suffering more than me, and I always feel blessed with all I have.
