Hello everyone!

My name is Erika and I'm originally from New York City. Living in Madrid for the past 5 years working as both an English Teacher in different schools with children pre-K through Secondary and as a babysitter. I have over 10 years experience working with children in different capacities including being a nanny. I have a passion in teaching young children and creating activities that children can learn and thrive from.

I have plans this upcoming Fall on continuing my education, which gives me time in between to be your babysitter!

I'm dependable, energetic, nurturing, caring with good communication skills and would be a good asset to any household that would love to have me as their babysitter or nanny. I genuinely enjoy spending time with kids, learning from them and overall having lots of fun. At the same time, I take safety and house rules very seriously. I'm extremely dedicated and creative and always find ways to engage children in during playtime and homework time. I also realize that every child is unique and so a one size fits all treatment doesn't apply so I'm patient and flexible with them looking for ways to connect with and figure out together what activities and games they want to do or play. The learning adventure goes both ways. Furthermore, I always aim to take care of kids with the same love and understanding that I would take care of my own children, if I had mine my own. Making a difference, one child at a time is of the utmost importance to me.
