Sarah, niñera en El prat de llobregat

Hey! My name is Sarah and I am 22 years old from Dublin, Ireland. I am currently undertaking a gap year after completing my university degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics. Within this gap year, I hope to travel to several places while fulfilling my LOVE for caring for children. I am seeking to find live-out nanny/au pair work in Barcelona from the 23rd of January. As you will read, I have experience with and am comfortable with all age groups, including care of infants.

In terms of experience, I began my babysitting career when I was 14 years old and have cared for 12-15 families, over the years. I have nannied for three individual families for periods of 4 months to 18 months. The age of the children in these families included 14 months, 4, 6, 8, 11, and 12. This summer, I spent 4 months working in a créche in Zakynthos, Greece, which involved extensive care of infants as young as 12 weeks old. This winter, I will undertake my first full time au pair role for an infant and two young children.
Other relevant experience includes being trained in paediatric dietetics and having spent 4 months placement in a National paediatric hospital. I also worked part-time for an early childhood education company in Ireland called 'Rugbytots' from 2018-2021.

To conclude with a small bit about myself - I am a positive, energetic, enthusiastic, and hard-working individual who really wants to make the most of the opportunities available to me. I am academic and happy to do any tutoring for children (but I don't have any qualifications). I love being active and have a passion for optimizing the health of myself and others, particularly future generations.
