Hello,

Nice to meet you! My name is Ollie, I am 26 years old and I am from a place called Bristol in England. I am the oldest grandchild of 13 so all my life I have been used to growing up around children. I am very close with my family.

When I was 15/16 my family would ask me to babysit and look after my cousins sometimes which I really enjoyed. Once I started that then my mums friends asked if I would look after their children from time to time.

I have work in education over 4 years now ages ranging from 3-18 teaching these students in England, Spain and Brazil. Also working at a summer school for 4 summers where I have to live for 7 weeks which was so much fun.

I graduated with a physical education degree so I really like sport and a big passion of mine is football. I like to be active and I think it’s important for children to be active and healthy.

I have worked as an English language assistant in Madrid for 6 months in primary also doing private lessons on the side and looking after children. My youngest was 3 years old who I would play with and speak in English.

After this I went to Brazil and worked for 2 English schools where I would go to students house and give 1-1 English lessons.

Whilst at the summer school, it was a very long, busy, active and big programme for the students. English in the morning, activities in the afternoons, evening events, trips twice a week and other things. I had various roles as an activity leader, house parent and activity coordinator. For this role having the experience as a house parent would be really beneficial.

I am very enthusiastic , motivated and caring young man and I’m always up for a new challenge. I like to be a role model to young people as I find teaching very rewarding.
