My name is Monica. I´m 27 years old and I have been working with families over the las 3 years. Two of those years as a live in Au Pair in United States with the same family, and the last year as a live out nanny for another family in United States as well. With both families I took care of newborn babies and their 3-5 year old siblings.

Before I went on the adventure of becoming an Au Pair, my career working with children started at age 16 when I worked as a Camp Counselor in a summer camp for 2 consecutive years.
At age 20, for 19 months, I volunteer in an orphanage home for girls.
At 23, I was working for Barcelo Hotels and Resorts in Riviera Maya in the kids club area.
And finally, at 24 my dream of living and working in a foreign country began when I become an Au Pair.

I am a certified english teacher and have diplomas in English Literature, English Power Speaking, Business and English Communication Skills.
Other certifications I was able to achieve while preparing myself to be an au pair for the first time were: First Aid, CPR, Children and Nutrition, American culture in a nutshell, water-safety (lifeguard), Infant Care, Positive Discipline.

I am great with adapting to new environments, I have lived in Mexico, Canada, Guatemala, Belize, United States and have been living in Spain for 3 months so far; moving around has helped me great deal in adapting comfortable in different situations.
