I am of British nationality and have extensive experience as a
communicative English teacher as well as being a full time nanny.
I would like to return to caring for children and offer my services as an English teacher.
I speak fluent Spanish and am native English, and I have mastered my communication skills to
an advanced level, I believe I possess the knowledge and experience necessary to perform the
advertised position, improving student satisfaction through effective communication.
Whilst living and working in Spain, I taught communicative English on a private basis
to students from kindergarten to adults (Cambridge Syllabus).
During my time living and teaching both in India and Vietnam I gained valuable experience in dealing with students from varying
cultures and backgrounds, which assisted in the development of strong interpersonal skills and
a clear understanding and respect for cultural ethics.
I developed teaching materials specific to each individual student, evaluated students’ progress
and tailored lessons accordingly.
In addition, I successfully employed an inductive methodology whilst teaching and found that
this led to many positive student outcomes.
A key part of my career is helping students reach their full potential, which I work towards by
focusing on correct pronunciation when teaching.
I have travelled extensively both in a work capacity and for leisure, hence I am accustomed and
comfortable dealing with people of differing nationalities, backgrounds and cultures.
As shown by my experience in schools, I am enthusiastic about education and always strive to do
the best for my students. I am able to take on responsibility for learning and have experience of
successfully managing a class. I also have the enthusiasm and determination to ensure that I
make a success of this role.
I am eager to improve my skills and am fully prepared to adapt and grow with the working
