Alica, canguro en Oliva

Dear parents,
My name is Alica, i'm 29 years old girl from Slovakia, originally a gardener and jewelry artist. I've just moved to Spain because we've got beautiful piece of land with my boyfriend here in Oliva to create amazing self-sufficient ecological creative space for people out of it. We are currently settling down and trying to get to know the locals.
As you might notice, I barely speak any spanish, but I'm studying hard :) that is the reason why i'd like to work as nanny for some time. I could practice english with your little ones and learn spanish from them, since I know that kids are the best teachers in many fields.
I have worked as aupair in New York, Manhattan for one year in 2014 and that was definitely the best lesson of my life. I was taking care of two girls (6 and 9 y.o.) and the older one was very difficult to approach - she has had several behavioral issues but i've found the way how to make her feel loved and respected. With her, i've developed my patience, not judging and diplomacy skills :)

Besides that, as a person with passion for arts, I have organized several art workshops for kids of all ages.

I have also worked as counselor at wild-west oriented summer camp. We spent two great weeks in the nature, learning many useful things such as how to create a shelter, how to make a fire, how to survive in ultimate conditions, and so on.

My last activity was last year, related to Erasmus+ youth programe in Romania. I was a team leader for group of young students who had gained knowledge about self-expression and social skills in terms of searching for job.

I no longer feel stressed about working with children or youth. On the contrary, I love it and it gives me the reason to develop my own self.

I know, not knowing the spanish language might be a little problem, but I can overcome it and i'll find the way how to connect with your children by my heart ❤.

My time is totally flexible so I am available any time you need.
