What can I tell you about myself? I am a responsible, funny, patient and empathic girl who likes to treat people with the same respect that we all deserve, whether they are animals or kids, I especially like to let kids know that I respect their opinions and voice like any other adult person and i think that’s the reason why I sympathize and get along with them. I enjoy having quality time with my family, friends, and with my dogs ; I also love every kind of animal. Moreover , i am a curious person who also is willing to learn and to do many things that teach me more about life, I like to discover new things: people, places, cultures, in fact that’s one of the main reasons of me studying english philology, it’s mostly with the idea to learn more about other fascinating culture and its literature, to finally be multilingual.
I love every expression of art because it’s the best way to learn things like new languages and history, that’s way I frequently use movies, or song to learn and teach. I am very aware of the problems that the world is suffering, like the poverty or climate change; I try to make a small difference by helping through volunteerism with Aiesec since 2017 and reducing my plastic consume.
I like travelling, I believe that it's a good way to be more tolerant and intelligent too. I enjoy dancing, mostly Latino and contemporary music because I like to do training workshop of both. However, I usually listen to different musical styles and I love attending concerts too. I like reading and playing music (at least I try to) in my relax time. Also, I like playing sports but my favorite one is skating.
Now I am going to tell you more about my family, my mother is retired from the army but she is also an technician engineer, my father is also retired from the army and now he’s a lawyer, my twins brother are 23 and they are in the university in Colombia, one of them is studying Robotics and the other one English literature.

As for my experience with children, I am a leisure and recreation monitor and I work every summer as a babysitter since 2015; my first experience was with my little brothers, but my first family was one with two kids in Colombia, the mother of them is a close friend of my mother, the second and third family were in Spain, they both found me on an app called Topnanny, you can find my profile there.
In the summer camp, I am like a big sister for the boys and girls during two whole weeks and I am responsible of children from 6 to 10, the youngest of the camp. During two weeks, I helped them to wake up, have breakfast, lunch and dinner; to take care of their clothes and their personal objects and to go to sleep. We did a lot of activities, like crafts or games. We taught them to do the housework, and the most important for me, we taught them values like responsibility, respect to others, and also we always( the monitors) were trying to speak in English, or other language we know.
Also in summers I teach how to skate to kids from 8 to 11 because I was in the national team in the young league in Colombia when I was 15 years old, and I was a volunteer in my old school looking after the minor grades, helping the teacher with some class in my free time.
Moreover, I taken care of a 6 years old boy, I used to take care of him and we spent afternoons together when his parent needed a nanny. I love his energy and he taught me many things, the time I spend with him, we go out, to the park or the beach, depending on the weather I look for entertaining activities for him. I needed to be creative so they do not get bored.
