I am a Mum of one Daughter who got married recently. We have just moved to Spain from Ireland . I have spent the past 11 years working with children with Autism/ Disabilities. The setting was a respite so very important to make the children feel safe and There parents as they were leaving the care of there child to us, providing a home from home environment was very important as was building the trust with the child and parent.The age range was from 6 to 18 years.I have Fetac Level Training in First Aid/Child First/ /Medication /Epilepsy/ Health Safety / to name a few . Part of the job was also to cook offering healthy options along side catering for the individual preferences and dietary requirements of the children . I did do home work with the children and liased with different professionals, Teachers Speech and Language , OT , Physio, envolved in there lives. .Prior to this I lived and worked in the UK working with the elderly.
