My name is Lydia Rosales.
I am a native Spanish speaker with a proficiency in French and English, and a basic knowledge of German.

I am a motivated and detail-oriented person, who has been taking care of kids since I was 16 years old, with ages ranging from newborn to 10 years old.

I am confident that I possess everything necessary for this role, as this is something I have been doing for a long time and truly love spending time with kids and seeing the world through their eyes.

My first childminder job began in 2015 Summer vacation, taking care of my neighbours´ kids every day while the parents were at work. I then took care of kids during the school year as well when needed, and the full summer of 2016 again.

Already with some childminder experience, I decided to take a gap year after finishing high school, which resulted in me being an Au pair for almost 3 years.

My first Au pair job was in Ireland, where I stayed from September 2016 to 2018. I planned to stay for a year, and I had the chance to take care of the 2 most beautiful boys, which quickly became 3! Hence why I decided to stay longer, helping the family with the newborn and seeing the kids grow.

I then continue with my Au Pair Journey in Paris, where I stayed from June 2018 to March 2019. I had 2 boys aged 7 and 9, with whom I bonded quickly with.

I decided to come back to Spain to keep studying, and I then started to take care of Ale, an incredibly smart and lovely young boy aged 2, in the evenings after my classes and on weekends. I helped the parents as well when the newborn came, staying overnight with Ale when the parents had to stay at the hospital, and later spending more time with him as the parents became busier with the new girl.

My main duty and responsibility have always been to provide high quality care and assistance to children.

Some of my daily duties:
- Developing and provided a safe environment for the kids
- Playing with kids, assisting them in the development of fundamental learning skills
- Preparing and serving daily meals
- Maintaining household clean
- Taking them safely to crèche, to the beach, the park, etc
- Working closely and communicating with parents to ensure their needs were met
- Resolving any problematic issues
- Coordinating activities with other parents and friends

I would like to reinforce that I am a hardworking and responsible person when it comes to improving my work. I consider I have developed a keen eye and attention to detail when it comes to the resolution of problems, thanks to my different experiences.

I have a full time job, but I would love to continue taking care of children in my free time, as it is something I deeply love.
