My name is Laia, I would like to introduce myself a little, so that you know how I am. I am willing to visit your country!

I am 18 years old. My birthday is on the 27th of November. I live in a city which is 30 km far from Barcelona. It's a coastal town, not very touristic but with a long beach, roman and modernist buildings. I am finishing my first year at university.

I have been studying English for a long time, and I am also studying German, and I have some knowledge of French as well. As you can see, I love learning new languages and about other cultures, and I hope to improve my English during my stay in Ireland and also learn about your country and region, its traditions and way of life.

In my spare time, I play the drums. Music is one of my passions. My favourites genres are pop and rock. I also like making puzzles, cooking, fashion or watching TV series. The thing that I like the most is travelling.

I live with both my mother and father, because they are divorced. I have a brother who is 11 years old. During the scholar year, I use to babysit and do extra support classes to some children, to earn some money for my extra expenses. That makes me feel more responsible. People say I am a very responsible, calm and a conciliatory person, who rejects conflict, with a good sense of humour.
