Native english speaking nanny required for 1 year old boy
Hiya,
My name is Mary Ellie, I am Scottish and my husband and I relocated from London to Malaga in Feb of last year just before the lockdown. We are both full time freelancers and we work in the online Conferences and Events sector, so we work remotely, from home, on the organisation team for online events, on a freelance contract basis.
Given that our nanny had had to return to the UK we are now looking for a Native English speaking nanny who is flexible in terms of working hours. We currently have an English speaking nanny covering most mornings for us, however we rely heavily on my in-laws and other family members to cover us in the afternoons, and there are some days were everyone who babysits for us has other work commitments, so we have gaps where we are not covered. Given that we are freelancers, some days we work in the morning, other days all day, and other days in the afternoon, depending on the specific work contracts we get in. These typically come in two weeks beforehand. Up until really recently, we had a British nanny who would first take our timetable for the week and then fit in her other part time (also freelance) work around that, so that was ideal, nevertheless, she had to leave Spain to return to the UK, so now we are ideally looking for someone with a similar degree of flexibility: so someone who would be able to offer a minimum of 25 hours per week to, but who would have a great deal of flexibility about when these would be, so ideally, someone who is also a freelancer, with other commitments but that are flexible.
We need a nanny who is fully vaccinated and who can provide police checks and references. It is 100% essential for us that our nanny be vaccinated. We also need the nanny to be a native English speaker as this is really important to us, given that we speak English at home.
We would look to meet any potential English speaking nanny soon, so that they could meet our little boy and potentially start working with him as of as soon as possible.
