Hi,

My name is Elena. Both me and my husband work in IT. We moved to Barcelona almost 4 years ago from Moscow (Russia) and since then enjoying the city very much. We have 2 kids (a girl 4 years old and a boy 11 years old). They both go to school.
We had a wonderful nanny who looked after our kids since we moved here, but unfortunately, she has to return to her home country.
That’s why we’re looking for a Russian or English native-speaking nanny (but with a good level of Spanish). The first and the most she has to enjoy looking after the kids, be responsible and punctual. Our kids are creative. They love crafts and drawing and ideally their nanny would support and share their hobbies.
The typical working day would start around 15:30 and is until 20:00, unless they are sick and stay home or they have school vacations. In this case the day will start at 9am.
The typical duties are:
- meeting the kids from the school bus
- cooking and feeding them
- delivering them to extra classes (dancing/programming/drawing)
- doing homework (especially in Spanish) and teaching them Spanish
- light cleaning
- entertaining them during their free time
- shopping
- laundry

However we’ll require nanny’s full availability and flexibility in return for a fixed monthly salary covering the whole day, because around 3 times a year we’re on business trips together and we need the nanny to stay overnight with the kids as well in addition to the daily routine. The trips may sometimes overlap with weekends.
Vacations are fully paid, though they are not flexible: typically 1 full month in summer (August) and a couple of weeks throughout the year when the grandparents arrive.

We would love the nanny to be well tempered, positive and caring.
