Hi! My name is Paloma. I have a wonderful three-year-old boy, who is so so good that everyone points it out. But, of course, it is better for you to come see for yourself!

I am typing this in English because this is one of the main requisites for our new nanny, or, the way I like to look at it, the new member of our small family - I am a single mom by choice.

We have had a WONDERFUL nanny this year, but she had to quit because of personal issues which prevent her from spending time with us any longer. She is helping me out when it comes to finding a perfect match, as she has been for us during this time. We will miss her so SO much, but I hope we can find a person as fantastic as she is.

*THE JOB*

This is supposed to be a long term job if we are all comfortable. The standard schedule would be:

- MONDAYS and WEDNESDAYS: he gets out of school at 6PM. Unless you live very close, there is no point in coming all the way here and back for what may be... two hours tops (starting at 6.30PM)? so this is totally optional.

- TUESDAYS and THURSDAYS: he gets out of school at 4PM. Usually, we go straight to the park, which is right in front of his school, and then we go home. You would be required (if possible) to work three or four hours, starting at 4.30PM.

- FRIDAYS: he gets out of school at 2PM. Four hours, starting at 3.30PM, sounds awesome.

- SATURDAYS: if you are available, so is he. I choose different activities we can do. Outdoors for the most part. It may be going shopping, to the movies, to a theme park, skating, swimming, etc. Six hours is super for us!

- EXTRAS: I do not usually need a break that lasts for a few hours, but who knows. A spa or a dinner is so missed...

*AREA*

At the moment, we live between Arroyo and Carretera de Carmona. I have other properties, but I don't know if or when I will be moving.

*DOGS:* *important!*

If you dislike dogs or are allergic to them, this is not the right job for you :( they are rescue dogs, small and funny. I love dogs.

*YOUR DUTIES*

Right now, I'm focused on the kid, but if you also offer to do house chores I am open to speak about that, too :)

Speaking in English at all times is mandatory (bilingual or native, I speak fluently but with an accent so please, be aware of this requisite).
We are teaching him how to read and write both in English and Spanish. I have books and a whiteboard. I explain to him whatever crosses my mind LOL. We have to improve his grammar. Yes, you will be able to understand him perfectly, but I am working on how to build a perfect sentence.

Not letting him get bored is super important, he loves playing both at home and at the park. Super sociable, but too handsome and yes, he is aware of it. You need to keep an eye on him at all times. Not in a helicopter mode, but just enough to know he is close by.

He is super independent most of the time but still needs some help getting undressed. He will ask, do not worry. No nappies anymore during the day or at night. He knows how to use the toilet perfectly, he has manners and cleans up after himself and, of course, cleans his table after snack time or dinner. He always has to say "please" and "thanks".

If you know how to make not-complicated dinners for him, you just earned a super point ;)
