Iso: family personal/business assistant for an family living in the costa del sol

Fluent Spanish and conversational English speaker familiar with local community and Spanish bureaucracy to work for a successful entrepreneur and his equally successful executive wife.

We are an expat family of 5 (plus 2 friendly hypoallergenic Spanish water dogs and rabbit so it helps to be comfortable with animals).

We are all at different levels of Spanish but none are fluent (though we would love to practice with you).

About the Role:
The role is to assist the parents in scheduling various tasks and communications and other matters, both personal and business.This is a hybrid role to help the family partially remotely but also in person.

In person:
Weekdays from ~15:00 to 18:00
We will need help to pick up two of our children from their school in the afternoon at 16:00 in a nearby town then either taking them to after school activities or bringing them home and making sure they complete chores and homework.

Remote and in person:
The remainder of the role will be spent as a personal assistant (working some hours remotely and some in person) for the father (a successful entrepreneur) to help him keep his various businesses running smoothly, translating & handling various Spanish communications. Additionally, help will be needed occasionally to help arrange various family medical appointments, helping to find various local services, and vacation planning will be a big value add.

Location:
Within a reasonable driving distance of Benalmadena, Malaga. It is a must to have your own car and driving license.

Preference for native Spanish speakers with strong English skills, but open to non natives fluent in Spanish and strong knowledge of the local area.

Reference checks, background and identity checks will be needed to complete the interview process.

Experience
Required: At least 3 years prior experience as an executive assistant, personal assistant to a CEO or a business owner, or a concierge and familiarity with working remotely.
Nice to have: At least 1 year experience in managing social media profiles, updates and email communication; experience with children

General skills:
Very organized, with attention to detail and ability to prioritize
Able to learn new things quickly and good at research
Reliable and adaptable, able to follow instructions
Great communication skills, coordinate and manage others

Technical skills:
Nice to have: Familiar with common tools used by remote companies: Slack, Trello, Asana, GDrive etc.
Nice to have: Experienced in using spreadsheets, documents & presentations; able to do basic graphic design, formatting for documents, presentations, pdfs, blog posts

Tasks and Responsibilities:
Your daily tasks and responsibilities will be dynamic, including some recurring items and daily agendas and many occasional or time-sensitive tasks.
