Hello,
we are looking for an au pair girl, starting immediately or later.
We are a German family 🇩🇪 living on the beautiful island of Lanzarote 🏝, the Canary Islands of Spain.
We are looking for a "sister" for our 2 children 👱‍♂️👱‍♀️ (11 and 13 years old).
You would have your own room with bathroom 🛏.
During the week you have a lot of free time. It is only a few hours a day with the children. With agreement you can also have a day off during the week. In the evening, if you want, you can go for a walk with us.
Pocket money: In your free time, you can earn pocket money by giving you a voluntary option to help with our work/household, which will be charged per hour.
Stay: from 1 month or for longer period.

We own a big house with extra 6 apartments, a big swimming pool with garden, which is close to the sea, which is in the town of Tías.
We live so central that you can easily walk to all the several stores.
Next to us is a sports hall and sports fields, where you can participate or maybe make new friends.
Nearby there are several bus stops where you can go to the next village and / or explore the island.
One of the nearest towns is Puerto del Carmen, a tourist area, with several large beaches and where a lot is going on.
We have a great climate. In winter it can even get up to 25°C.
We can speak several languages: German (mother tongue, which is also spoken in the house), English, Afrikaans / Dutch - fluent spoken and written and Spanish standard. The children go to a private school and learn four languages there (German, Spanish, English and Chinese) and therefore can speak all 4 languages.
We work from home: renting the 6 apartments and selling online cell phone spare parts worldwide.
We are a normal, active, very spontaneous family.
Two cats live with us.
In our free time, we like to do things together as a family, such as going to the beach, walking, trips, hiking, playing board games or Wii.
Our children love to swim, ride bikes (there is a bike for you too), go to the beach, playground, crafts, painting, playing Wii.
Our expectations:
A warm, loving interaction with the children.
To engage with the children and if possible to help with homework.
In the household you are free to help.
During the week from 16.30:
- Help with homework if necessary.
- Keep the children busy.
- The children go to bed around 9pm.
Weekend:
Will do family activities together.
For example: going to the beach 🏖 hiking, riding a bike 🚲,
or when at home, play games or swimming 🏊.
To the au pair:
-Honesty is very important for us.
-Integrate into the family, as a "big sister".
-Meal times to be arranged according to us.
-We eat everything, but as far as prepared low-fat and we grill a lot and with pleasure.
It is important to us that you eat everything as far as possible, because you are also seen as a role model for the children.
-Spontaneous, flexible and also sometimes accept short-term changes.
-We would be happy if you are also integrated in the family activities, because we like to see you as a member of the family and not as an employee.
-Please do not report if you are vegetarian / vegan and smoker.
