Mario (father) is 37 years old. He has an electricity company in Segovia and works mainly in the Central zone of Spain. Being a service company dedicated to Compañía Unión Fenosa, Industrias y Hospitales, it is available all day. Although, habitually its schedule is from 7:30 to 20:00.
María (mother) is 34 years old. She is a Housewife, and she takes care of the children, mainly the little one, Gonzalo.
Mario Jr. is 7 years old and Gonzalo 5.
They are good children. Mario more calm and Gonzalo more unruly.
Mario is very fond of band music, (processions and marches), the field and drawing. He is a calm child and expresses himself with ease and good vocabulary. Memorize fast.
Gonzalo, he is more moved. He has great ability for games and sports.
We are a young, extroverted and traditional family. Whenever possible, we like to go out, eat or dine out.
Our hobbies are several, the boys like to go out to the country, to hunt, to fish, to walk, to take mushrooms, etc ... Maria likes the city more, to go for a walk, to shop. Together we go to the cinema, shopping, travel, ...
On weekends, we have a house in the mountains, and we usually go there for the weekend and parties that children do not have school (Christmas, etc ...)
The main reason is that the children have a permanent contact with the language and are able to internalize it thanks to a prosperous coexistence.
The au-pair must coexist mainly with the children. He will spend time in the evenings with them. You must make a night as a babysitter, preferably on Fridays.
You must maintain order and cleanliness in your room and bathroom, as well as perform essential household chores.
We would like the au pair to be extroverted, family oriented, committed to its main task, with sensitivity in dealing with children and patients.
That he has a good disposition at all times, and be aware of the effort that it entails for the family to be able to offer him this opportunity of coexistence.
Our house is located in the center of the city and just 200 meters from the central bus station.
It is a house located on Calle Escultor Marinas, 20 - Psio 2ºD -CP 40002 in Segovia Capital.
The city, Segovia, is a very comfortable city and you can walk to all the places from our house located in the center. It is a city with many students because of the 2 universities it has. In addition, there is an official language school.
It is very well connected to Madrid by AVE 15 minutes and there are numerous buses that take 1 hour.
The room of the au-pair person is exclusively for her. It consists of a bed, desk, double door wardrobe, natural light through the window, equipped with internet connections, and TV. The house has 2 bathrooms, one in our suite room and one shared with the children in the hallway. Children usually use ours when they have a bathtub, so the bathroom can also be considered exclusively.
Near our house there are numerous restaurants, supermarkets, fashion shops, pedestrian areas, indoor pool, bus station, parks, we are 200m from the Aqueduct.
In our house, the access of guests is not allowed.
We have an internet line, but not a phone line, as it is not necessary, we only use mobile phones. And therefore the au-pair must provide the device to communicate, if required.
At home, we make lunch and dinner together at the table, helping everyone to put it on and take it off. Afterwards, the children go to sleep and the parents stay alone for a while watching TV.
The nocturnal exits will be carried out in a responsible way and with moderation, disapproving any type of excess that undoubtedly lead to discomforts in the daily coexistence.
At home, the type of cuisine is Spanish, varied in vegetables, meat, fish. If you have any intolerance, you must inform us at all times.
