Maisie, au pair en Madrid

I am an experienced nanny and babysitter looking to work with a family in Madrid. I recently moved to Spain from New Zealand, where I worked with two families to provide before‑ and after‑school, evening, and school holiday care. I'm also an Aunty to a one year-old, two year-old, and nine year-old. I have experience caring for infants (under a year old) through to teens (13 years old), and am more than happy looking after siblings of mixed ages.

My approach to working with children is to respect their capabilities, encourage exploration and creativity, and role model positive behaviours, all while taking ultimate responsibility for their routines, safety, and well being.

English is my native language, and I am learning Spanish through night classes here in Madrid. I hold a Master's degree in ecology and have a strong passion for the environment, which I enjoy sharing with kids through outdoor activities, reading, and play.

In previous nannying roles I have completed light housework and meal preparation, and would be more than happy to do so for your family.
