Sara, au pair - 28004 Madrid

Hi! My name is Sara and I'm from the Philippines.
I'm half Chinese and half Filipina. It's my second year as a Language Assistant in Madrid, Spain.

Growing up, my family and I moved a lot. So at an early age, I've experienced traveling to a new country, meeting locals and foreigners alike, and adjusting to new cultures.

It's one of the reasons why I joined this program. I wanted to recreate that feeling I would have as a child when we would move to a new place, not knowing anyone, not knowing what to expect.

Hi! My name is Sara and I would like to apply to be your Au Pair.

I'm a Language Assistant in a primary school in Malasaña. It's my second year as their English Assistant. I teach 1st and 2nd graders.

With that said, I'm fluent in English. I grew up bilingual(well.-. maybe trilingual?). I'm from the Philippines but I grew up partially in China and the Philippines. I'm half Chinese and half Filipina. So I'm fluent in English, Filipino, and I know the basics (and a bit more) of Chinese (Mandarin).

I have experience in child care. I've worked in an infantil (daycare) last 2019 as a part-time teacher, tutored 6-10y/o kids in English, have done a lot of babysitting during my teenage years, and I've been an English Language Assistant from 2019 and currently. I taught and managed kids from ages 1-11y/o.

If you need someone who can take care of your kid, who adore children, who have a fun approach to learning (game-based and interactive teaching), play with them and keep them occupied, teach them English and even mandarin, I'm your girl :)

In terms of visas, you don't need to do anything because I already have my student visa until next year June, I'm already in Madrid :)
